What you’ll need to check your refund status:
Your Social Security number or ITIN
Your filing status
The exact refund amount shown on your tax return
Make an IRS Payment

You can make a payment toward your tax balance due, estimated taxes, or an existing payment plan at any time. Payments can be made in full or partially, depending on your situation.
Please note: Penalties and interest continue to accrue until the full balance is paid, so paying sooner can help reduce additional charges.
